Bastian Stein (trumpet), Jonas Burgwinkel (drums), John Goldsby (bass), Simon Seidl (piano) This quartet brings together four musicians from the Cologne scene who have been making music together in different projects for many years. All of them are represented internationally in a wide variety of bands and are in great demand as performers and bandleaders. On this evening, for once, they will not be presenting their own music, but the musical template will come largely from the Great American Songbook. This has a special charm, because with this composition of soloists, there are no limits to the interpretation. So you can expect an exciting journey in which traditional pieces are interpreted in a contemporary way.
